What is DawnInternet.com?
DawnInternet.com is a decentralized wireless network that lets people buy and sell internet bandwidth around them.
If you have extra internet you’re not using, you can earn by sharing it. And if you need more bandwidth, you can buy it from others nearby—all without any middleman.
The network runs on a secure, trustless system that uses proof of backhaul, location, and frequency to keep everything fair and transparent.
Dawn officially launched in August 2024 and already has over 1.5 million verified users. It’s built on the Solana blockchain, and Solana has also officially confirmed that the project is part of their ecosystem. Impressively, Dawn has also raised over $48 million in seed funding ($18 million initially and an additional $30 million in Q4 2025).
Dawn is not just another idea—it’s a growing network with real users, real tech, and real potential.
Is Dawn Safe to Use?
Let’s be honest—no platform that pays you to share your internet is 100% risk-free, and that includes Dawn.
All platforms have their own security measures, like encryption, 24/7 monitoring, and allowing only verified users to access the network. Still, there’s always a small privacy and security risk with these types of earning platforms.
So yes, Dawn is generally safe, but it’s wise to stay informed and take basic precautions to protect your data.

Which Devices Support Dawn?
Right now, Dawn only offers a Chrome extension, known as the DAWN Validator Extension. There’s no dedicated app for computers or mobile devices yet—but if one is released, I’ll update the details here.
If you’re using a computer, you can install the extension directly from the Chrome Web Store.
If you’re on a mobile device, things are a bit different. Chrome’s mobile version doesn’t support extensions. However, you can still use Dawn by installing browsers like Mises or Kiwi, which do support Chrome extensions. Just open one of these browsers, go to the Chrome Web Store, and install the DAWN Validator Extension to start earning from your phone.
Dawn also offers plug-and-play hardware devices. These are physical devices provided by Dawn that connect directly to your internet using a LAN cable and run independently, without needing a computer or mobile device. Once set up, the hardware works automatically and earns points in the background.
However, using this hardware requires a significant upfront investment, which can exceed $1,000, depending on the hardware specifications you choose. Since the $DAWN token has not launched yet (the TGE hasn’t happened), its actual value is still unknown, and returns are not guaranteed. Because of this uncertainty, you should carefully consider the risks and then decide whether or not to purchase the hardware.
What Earning Opportunities Does Dawn Offer?
Dawn currently offers three ways to earn rewards on the platform. Let’s take a closer look at each option:
Option 1 – Share Your Internet
The primary way to earn on Dawn is by sharing your internet connection. You’ll earn points based on how long your device stays connected to their network. For every 24 hours your device stays connected, you earn 1,440 reward points.
You can run the DAWN Validator Extension on multiple devices—even on the same internet connection (same IP address). But keep in mind: if you use the same network for multiple devices, each one will earn reduced points. To maximize your rewards, it’s better to use different internet connections for each device.
Dawn also offers a web-based user dashboard, which allows users to track their reward points, connected devices, and account activity more easily. This dashboard gives better visibility and control compared to relying only on the browser extension.
Option 2 – Invite Others
You can also earn extra points by inviting others to join Dawn. Once you sign up, you’ll get a unique referral code, which you can find in the “Referrals” section of the extension and also on the Referrals page of the web dashboard. You can share this code to invite others to join Dawn.
When someone enters your code during registration, successfully joins, and starts sharing their internet, you earn a 20% bonus on their internet sharing rewards. But it doesn’t stop there—you also get a 10% bonus from the rewards of people your referrals bring in (second level), plus a 5% bonus from third-level referrals.
You can track details like the total number of your direct referrals and your total referral earnings from all three levels on the referrals page in the web dashboard. This information is also available directly in the browser extension.
Option 3 – Follow Dawn’s Official Social Media
You can earn bonus points by following Dawn’s official social media pages. Just follow their X (formerly Twitter), Discord community, and Telegram channel using the links in the extension. For each one you follow, you’ll get 5,000 reward points. It’s an easy way to earn extra points and stay updated!
How Much Can You Actually Earn on Dawn?
It’s difficult to give an exact number because your earnings vary depending on several things—like how long your devices stay online, how many devices you use, and whether they’re connected to different IPs.
To increase your earnings, you’ll need to run Dawn on multiple devices, each using a different IP, and keep them online for longer periods. More uptime and more unique IPs mean more points—which could lead to more tokens during the airdrop.
However, the actual value of the $DAWN token is still unknown. Even though the project has been active for over 16 months (as of December 2025), the $DAWN token hasn’t launched yet (the TGE hasn’t happened). One positive sign is that Dawn has already raised over $48 million in seed funding—so we can hope the token value will be strong once it goes live.

How Often Will the Airdrops Happen?
There’s no fixed schedule for Dawn’s airdrops—it mostly depends on how fast the project grows.
So far, the first airdrop hasn’t happened yet. Dawn has already launched plug-and-play hardware and is focusing on selling it to users. This hardware lets users simply connect their LAN cable—the device then handles everything automatically and starts earning points. The hardware is available for purchase on Dawn’s official website, and the price varies depending on the hardware specifications you choose. The team is also working on developing a few other new features. Because of these reasons, there are delays in the first airdrop. Additionally, the current crypto market instability (as of December 2025) is a concern, as it could affect the token’s value. The airdrop is likely to happen in Q1 2026 (January–March) or early Q2 2026 (April–June), but delays are possible if their plans take longer to execute or if crypto market conditions remain unstable.
Future airdrops will also depend on both how the project continues to develop and crypto market trends.
How Does the Dawn Points System Work?
The points you earn from sharing your internet, inviting friends, and completing bonus tasks will determine how many $DAWN tokens you get during the airdrop.
However, Dawn hasn’t shared how these points will be converted into tokens yet. If any official details come out, I’ll make sure to update the information here.
How Do You Get Paid?
Dawn rewards you with $DAWN tokens through airdrops, based on the points you earn. These airdrops don’t happen often—they’re scheduled based on how the project grows and develops.
As of now, Dawn hasn’t shared when the first airdrop will take place or which wallets can be used to claim your tokens. Since $DAWN is built on the Solana blockchain—and Solana has confirmed that Dawn is part of its ecosystem—we can expect popular Solana wallets like Phantom, Solflare, and others to be supported.
Once Dawn officially confirms the supported wallets, I’ll update the details here.
Can You Get Support?
Like most other DePIN projects, Dawn doesn’t offer direct support on its website or browser extension. If you need help, you’ll need to contact them through their official X (formerly Twitter) account or their Discord community.
You can usually expect a response within a few hours after posting your question or issue.
Pros:
- Passive Earnings: Earn points just by sharing your internet—no active work needed.
- Officially Confirmed by Solana: Solana has officially confirmed that the $DAWN token is part of its ecosystem, which adds more trust and credibility to the project.
- Early Access: Being in beta gives users a chance to earn more points before public launch.
- High Funding Raised: The project has already raised over $48 million in seed funding, which shows strong investor support.
Cons:
- No Token Launch Yet: The $DAWN token isn’t live yet, so the real value of points is unknown.
- Unclear Airdrop Schedule: No fixed timeline for when airdrops will happen.
- Plug-and-Play Hardware Cost: The hardware is expensive, and investing a lump-sum amount without knowing the actual value of the $DAWN token does not guarantee returns.
- Limited Device Support: Only available as a Chrome extension—no dedicated desktop or mobile app.
- Lack of Transparency: No clear info on how points convert to tokens or how rewards are calculated.
- Limited Support: There’s no direct customer support—help is only available through Discord or X (Twitter).

Final Thoughts
Dawn (also known as Dawn Network) is a legit DePIN project that lets you earn crypto passively by sharing your internet connection. But keep in mind, it’s still in beta, so its true potential is still uncertain.
The Token Generation Event (TGE) hasn’t happened yet—it will take place before the first airdrop. So, the real value of the $DAWN token and your actual earnings will only become clear after that.
On the bright side, Solana has officially confirmed that $DAWN is part of its ecosystem, and the project has raised over $48 million in seed funding. This adds strong credibility and raises hopes that the token will perform well.
If you’re open to some risk and like trying new DePIN projects, Dawn could be worth a shot. Getting in early is key—early users usually get the biggest rewards. The first few airdrops—especially the first one—may offer more tokens than later ones as more users join. This isn’t unique to Dawn—it applies to most DePIN projects.
So, joining early in a promising project like Dawn—without worrying too much about the outcome—could be a smart move.
